The carefully selected species for the seed mixtures are used to a dry and warm climate, very much like the dry and regulated temperature of the indoor environment and with the right means and care; these wild growing species can flourish and flower indoors. However, there are also several parameters that distinguish these climates from each other. In the plants’ natural habitats, water supply, humidity and temperature are automatically regulated. Indoors one has to regulate the temperature by watering and/or ventilation.
The challenge lies in reading the signals of the plant and to understand what it needs during its different growth stages. To cultivate a plant from seed to fully grown is in many ways different from taking care of an already adult plant. The different stages of a plant’s growth have their own charm, during which a plant requires to be treated and cared for in different ways.
